Here is the much-awaited update that movie buffs in Telangana have been waiting for. The bookings for Independence Day weekend releases, War 2, and Coolie are live now in Telangana. The advances have commenced in a handful of theatres, and soon all the cinemas will be up on the ticketing platforms.
The best part is that both the biggies weren’t given ticket rate hikes by the Telangana government, a move that is sure to please movie buffs. The bookings opened at the regular prices in the territory, i.e., Rs. 177/- for single screens and Rs. 295/- for multiplexes. Also, War 2 and Coolie won’t have early morning shows in the state.
It is being said that dubbed films won’t be given ticket rate enhancements going forward in Telangana. The shows for War 2 and Coolie are set to commence from 7 AM. The affordable ticket prices are expected to help the films register solid footfalls, which is absolutely the need of the hour. Coolie headlined by Rajini, and War 2, fronted by Hrithik Roshan and NTR, were sold for fancy rates in Nizam, and we need to see how they will fare.
