Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is continuing its strong momentum at the box office. In its second weekend, the action drama witnessed a solid jump in revenues, proving the massive acceptance among the audience.
While the Kannada version is storming the ticket windows, the Hindi version is also holding well. The latest update reveals that Kantara: Chapter 1 has entered the Rs. 150 crore nett club in the Hindi belt, emerging only as the second Kannada film after KGF 2 to achieve this feat.
On its second Monday, the film collected nearly Rs. 4.5 crores nett, which is an excellent number for a dubbed release. It remains to be seen how Kantara: Chapter 1 performs during the Diwali season as new Bollywood films hit the big screens.
Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 features Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the tunes.
