Hari Hara Veera Mallu is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema, as it features the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh and Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. After being in production for close to three years, the period drama is all set to hit the screens on July 24, 2025.

There were multiple reasons for the film’s delays, and surprisingly, one of them involved Bobby Deol. Not many know this, but the shooting of Hari Hara Veera Mallu was postponed due to Bobby Deol’s beard. Yes, you heard that right.

Bobby was roped in to play a key role in the period drama and had even shot a few portions before moving on to another Hindi project, for which he had to be clean-shaven.

As a result, the makers had to wait for Bobby Deol to regrow his beard, causing nearly a month’s delay in the film’s shoot. This was revealed by producer A.M. Rathnam during one of his promotional interviews with Suma Kanakala.
