Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara is set to open in theatres with paid premiere shows from October 31st evening. Samajavaragamana writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu is making his directorial debut with this mass entertainer, which stars Sreeleela as the female lead.
During the promotions, the director revealed that makes Mass Jathara different from the other cop films headlined by Ravi Teja. “A hero playing a cop with mass elements is a proven formula. But I wanted to add a new dimension. That’s why I picked up the ‘Railway Cop’ profession for the hero’s role. This wasn’t explored earlier, stated Bhanu Bogavarapu.
Adding on to it, the director said, “Our film shows the cop duties from a different perspective. I met a few railway police officers and learned about their experiences and also limitations,” said the director. We readied a neat script based on railway cops and gave it a commercial spin.”
Talking about the lead pair’s track, Bhanu stated, “The chemistry between Sreeleela and Ravi Teja Garu will remind audiences of Chiranjeevi Garu and Vijayashanthi Garu’s pairing in Gang Leader. In Gang Leader, the love scenes will have a mass touch, giving a different vibe. Just like in that film, we have also designed the romance in a massy way for Mass Jathara.”
