OTT: Pawan Kalyan’s OG Hits Netflix – But Fans Are Disappointed; Here’s Why

Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG was a feast for fans and created box office havoc, emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025. Directed by Sujeeth, this high-octane actioner is now streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

However, fans are disappointed with the OTT release. Despite weeks of requests for an uncut version of OG, the platform released the same theatrical cut featuring the “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” song. Many viewers expressed frustration, pointing out that several scenes shown in promos were missing in the final version.

The only way to satisfy them, fans argue, is for the makers to release the deleted scenes on YouTube. Whether that will happen remains to be seen.

With a gross of over Rs. 300 crore worldwide, OG was a major theatrical success, and its OTT reception continues to draw interest.

The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, Shreya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Neha Shetty (special song). Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, the film’s music by Thaman S played a big role in its popularity and success.
