No children allowed in theaters – Telangana High Court’s bold move

A few days after the Telangana High Court declared a ‘NO’ to ticket price hikes and benefit shows, another important ruling has been issued. The court has now decided that children under 16 cannot attend movie theaters before 11 AM or after 11 PM. This decision follows a petition that raised concerns about the impact of late-night movie shows on children’s health and safety.

The court has asked the Telangana State Government to take steps to regulate the entry of children into theaters. The government has been instructed to consult experts, including child psychologists, to create rules for children attending movies during these hours.

The order is now in effect, meaning children under 16 are not allowed in theaters for late-night or early-morning shows. The government will soon create guidelines to ensure children’s safety while balancing the needs of the entertainment industry.
