Rumours about veteran actor Dharmendra’s death spread on social media today, causing a lot of confusion. The 89-year-old star was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital due to age-related issues, but his family has confirmed that he is alive, stable, and recovering.
Hema Malini reacted strongly to the fake news. She said, “What is happening is unforgivable… He is responding to treatment and recovering. Please respect the family’s privacy.”
Esha Deol also clarified the situation. She wrote,
“The media is spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. Please give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers.”
Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most loved actors, has worked in over 300 films, including classics like Sholay and Phool Aur Patthar. He was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2012.
Fans were shocked by the rumours, but are now relieved after the family confirmed that he is recovering. Everyone is wishing the legendary actor a speedy recovery.
