Peddi’s first single, Chikiri Chikiri, was a smash hit. With more than 60 million views in no time, the catchy song is trending across all music platforms. Ram Charan elevated the song even further with his graceful steps.
A.R. Rahman’s composition has made waves, and Ram Gopal Varma is among those who loved it. Varma praised the Peddi song “Chikiri Chikiri,” saying that every craft in cinema “should be only to elevate the HERO.” He felt Ram Charan appeared “raw, real, and explosive” in the song.
He also appreciated director Buchi Babu Sana, saying “a star shines brightest when stripped of unnecessary glitter,” and noted that Charan wasn’t “lost in big sets or among hundreds of dancers.” Varma said the director put the focus “on the star himself.” The team is overwhelmed by the director’s response to the song and thanked him.
Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and others play key roles. Vriddhi Cinemas is backing this pan-Indian biggie. Peddi is set to arrive in theaters on March 27, 2026.
The true purpose of every craft in cinema, be it direction, music, cinematography etc should be only to elevate the HERO.
After a long time, I saw @AlwaysRamCharan in his most raw, real, and explosive form in the #peddi song Chikiri Chikiri
