Santhana Prapthirasthu starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary in the lead roles is being bankrolled by Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, with Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy serving as producers. Directed by Sanjeev Reddy, writer Sheikh Dawood G. provided the screenplay. The film is set for a grand theatrical release on the 14th of this month.
On Monday evening, a grand pre-release event was held in Hyderabad. Directors Bobby, Sandeep Raj, Sailesh Kolanu, BVS Ravi, and producer Lagadapati Sridhar attended the event as chief guests. Speaking at the event Chandini Chowdary said that for the first time a film addresses male infertility through Santhana Prapthirasthu.
The actress said, “When I first heard the script, I felt it was an important story for today’s society. Fertility centers have grown everywhere, and infertility is often blamed solely on women. Some even suggest remarriage if a woman can’t conceive. But for the first time, this movie addresses male infertility, a topic many avoid discussing due to embarrassment or social judgment.”
She added, “By combining fun and entertainment around such a serious point, we’ve made it accessible. I hope the film creates awareness. I thank director Sanjeev Reddy for trusting me with the role of Kalyani, and our producers Sreedhar and Hariprasad for supporting the project. My co-star Vikranth is a dedicated actor, and I hope this film brings him success. The audience who liked our trailer will surely enjoy the movie.”
