Yesteryear Telugu actress Laya, who is making her comeback with Nithiin’s upcoming film Thammudu, expressed her amazement at the current wave of aggressive promotions in the film industry.
Speaking in an interview, Laya said, “I wish the bygone era had this kind of promotional push. Things would have been very different for my career in those days.”
Known for her graceful performances in the 2000s, Laya is now stepping into a powerful character role in Thammudu, which hits screens on July 4, 2025.
She also shared her excitement about returning to Telugu cinema after years, calling it a new and thrilling phase in her career.
