US-based doctor Praveena Paruchuri produced the critically acclaimed slice-of-life anthology film Care of Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. Praveena is all set to make her directorial debut with the soon-to-release “love letter to Telugu cinema,” Kothapallilo Okappudu.

Kothapallilo Okappudu’s intriguing first look poster was unveiled earlier today, marking a joint collaboration between Praveena’s Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts and Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media banners. The makers claim that Kothapallilo Okappudu is touted as a light-hearted satire steeped in local flavor and brimming with charm and is nostalgic, whimsical, and thought-provoking.

Kothapallilo Okappudu unfolds the story of a village youth whose life takes an unexpected turn after an incident. What begins as a small twist of fate spirals into chaos, as local folklore, village mischief, and time-honored traditions push him to the brink, culminating in a series of consequences neither he nor his community sees coming. Details about the film’s cast and crew members have been kept under wraps. Stay tuned for further updates.
