The highly anticipated teaser for Malayalam stalwart Mohanlal’s upcoming action thriller, L2: Empuraan, was unveiled in a grand event in Kochi on Sunday evening. This sequel to the blockbuster 2019 action thriller, Lucifer, is directed by popular Mollywood star Prithviraj Sukumaran, who also plays a key role in the movie.
L2E’s teaser is a spectacular show of the intense battle between evil and evil. While Mohanlal’s return as Stephen Nedumbally, also known as Abraam Khureshi and Lucifer, the teaser also introduces several other pivotal characters, including Prithviraj’s smashing appearance in the end. Acclaimed Mollywood stars Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier also make brief appearances in the thrilling teaser.
L2E’s teaser is loaded with breathtaking action sequences and minimal yet impactful dialogues. Ace cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev’s stylish visuals and Deepak Dev’s rousing score take this high-stakes teaser several notches higher. Writer Murali Gopy seems to have come up with yet another gripping thriller with L2E. Produced by Lyca Productions’ Subaskaran and Aashirvad Cinemas’ Antony Perumbavoor, L2: Empuraan is slated for release on March 27, 2025.
