Yatra chronicled the life story of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and earned solid critical acclaim. Recently, its director, Mahi V Raghav, came up with Yatra 2. The sequel highlights one of the greatest comebacks in the Telugu political scenario by AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who achieved a landslide victory in the 2019 AP Elections. Tamil actor Jiiva essayed the role of AP CM.
Yatra 2 was a box office failure, and now this biographical film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Telugu audio along with English subtitles. The film made its OTT debut two months after its theatrical release, which is a rarity.
Mammootty once again portrayed YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Ketaki Narayan played YS Bharathi, while Mahesh Manjrekar played Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Shiva Meka produced Yatra 2 under the banners of V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves. Santhosh Narayanan rendered the tunes.
