Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 is one of the most awaietd films in Bollywood. In a major move, Yash Raj Films has reportedly signed an exclusive agreement to reserve all 30+ IMAX screens across India for War 2 for a two-week window.
This strategic deal ensures that not a single IMAX screen will be available for Rajinikanth’s Coolie, which is also scheduled to release on August 14.
The development has raised eyebrows in the industry, as Coolie features a massive star cast and was expected to draw strong crowds.
With War 2 securing prime screens, competition at the box office is set to heat up during the Independence Day weekend.
