Mega Prince Varun Tej is currently busy with the shoot of Matka. The current schedule of the movie is taking place at the Vizag set erected in Ramoji Film City. In this film, Varun Tej will be seen in a vintage look set against a period backdrop.
An interesting piece of news is circulating on social media about Varun Teja’s remuneration. The makers are working with a substantial budget for ‘Matka’, reportedly around Rs. 50 crores. It is said that Varun Tej, who initially demanded a remuneration of Rs. 12 crore when the film was approved, has decided to reduce his fee to Rs. 6 crore, possibly in consideration of the film’s budget.
Palasa fame Karuna Kumar is directing the film. Gorgeous Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the female lead in the movie. GV Prakash is composing the music. Matka is a joint production of Vaira Entertainments and SRT Entertainments.
