Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who played Ram Charan’s love interest in the blockbuster RRR, is now busy with the shoot of Love And War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. However, Alia’s immediate release will be Alpha, which is a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
According to an exclusive report in Peeping Moon, Alia is producing a high-concept young adult film for Amazon Prime Video under her Eternal Sunshine Pictures banner in partnership with Chalkboard Entertainment. The film will reportedly be directed by Sreeti Mukerji, who worked as an assistant director for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
The report mentioned, “The project will be a coming-of-age drama much like ‘Wake Up Sid’ told from girls’ perspective. It will be set against the vibrant backdrop of an Indian college campus and feature mostly fresh, young actors. The shoot starts in October. The movie marks the second collaboration with Prime Video after working as an executive producer in Richie Mehta’s critically acclaimed web series Poacher.”
