Versatile actor Vikram joined forces with the sensational filmmaker Pa Ranjith for the movie Thangalaan. The project has been in the making for a long time. The film is based on a few real-life incidents that happened in Kolar Gold Fields. Until now, the makers haven’t announced the release date, which disappointed the fans.
The film’s theatrical trailer was censored recently with a duration of 2 minutes and 12 seconds. The word in the Kollywood film circles is that the trailer will also contain the release date. The makers are said to have packed the trailer with pulse-pounding moments, and the buzz is expected to rise after the trailer is dropped.
Most likely, Thangalaan will arrive in theatres during the Independence Day weekend. Stunning beauty Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in this period action drama. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pasupathy are playing other vital roles in this movie which is being jointly produced by Neelam Productions and Studio Green. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music.
