Chiyaan Vikram, known for his versatility and dedication to his roles, is set to captivate audiences with his stunning performance in Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith. Scheduled for a grand release on August 15, 2024, in multiple languages, the film has recently cleared its censor formalities, earning a U/A certificate from the CBFC.

The official runtime is confirmed at 156 minutes (2 hours and 36 minutes), with a few cuss words muted and color corrections made for the blood-filled scenes. Interestingly, the CBFC requested no cuts from the applied runtime, which is surprising given the intense teaser and trailer.

This raw and rustic tribal horror thriller features Malvika Mohanan in a negative role and Parvathy Thiruvothu in a significant part, alongside Pasupathy and Daniel Caltagirone.

Produced by K. E. Gnanavel of Studio Green Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions, Thangalaan promises to be a cinematic treat. GV Prakash Kumar’s music enhances the film’s appeal, making it one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
