Skanda is a film that had to click at any cost. The film directed by Boyapati Sreenu opened on September 28 last month and started with mixed word of mouth and is attracting the B and C center audience.
Well, the film was released on a long weekend and has made Rs. 43.9 crores gross so far. But that is not enough as the film’s theatrical rights have been sold for a high price. For the film to be in a safe zone, it has to make more money in the days to come.
Firstly, as it is a holiday today, Skanda needs to make big money or else it will be difficult for the film to stay afloat once the weekdays start. Ram Pothineni plays the main lead in this film which has Sreeleela as the main lead.
Thaman has scored the music and his work in the film has come under scrutiny. Well, we need to see how well the film fares in the days to come.
