Recently, on the birthdays of Megastar Chiranjeevi and young sensation Teja Sajja, both stars announced new movies. While Chiranjeevi reunited with director Bobby Kolli, Teja Sajja teamed up once again with Prasanth Varma.
Both movies mark a reunion with directors who have previously delivered superhits — Waltair Veerayya and Hanu-Man. Interestingly, both films are also in the race for a Sankranti 2027 release.
People Media Factory has officially announced that Zombie Reddy 2 is coming for Sankranti 2027, while the Chiru-Bobby 2 team is yet to make an official statement. However, the buzz in trade circles is already strong.
Another major speculation is that Allu Arjun’s 22nd movie, directed by the sensational Atlee, is also eyeing a Sankranti 2027 release. If this happens, it would confirm three blockbuster films jampacked for Sankranti 2027, setting the stage for a massive box office showdown.
When Teja Sajja last released Hanu-Man alongside Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, the former outperformed the latter at the box office. Will Teja Sajja repeat the same feat? Only time will tell.
