Star heroine Rashmika Mandanna recently delivered two back-to-back films in completely different genres. While one is The Girlfriend, the other is the horror-comedy Thamma.
Ayushmann Khurrana plays the other lead role in Thamma, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film received mixed reactions during its theatrical run, and the attention has now shifted to its digital release.
We already reported that the movie is expected to land on Amazon Prime Video on December 16, 2025, though the official announcement is still pending. Earlier, we also mentioned that the film will arrive early on a rental basis. Now, it is learned that December 2, 2025, is when Thamma will first go live on the OTT platform for rental. As per reports, viewers will need to pay around Rs. 400 to watch the film online.
Paresh Rawal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and others play key roles in this Maddock Films production, with music by Sachin–Jigar. Meanwhile, fans are also waiting for The Girlfriend to make its OTT debut in December. The exact streaming date for that film is yet to be confirmed.
