Maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli is currently busy with the shoot of his next tent-pole film SSMB 29, headlined by Superstar Mahesh Babu. The director is making sure the film is up to international standards, with a major schedule planned in Kenya.
While fans and the general audience are looking forward to SSMB 29 updates, the director’s appearance in the trailer of the recent Bollywood series The Bads of Bollywood took many by surprise. The series, directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, is a jab at the Hindi film industry, showcasing what happens behind the silver screen and the struggles outsiders face to make it big.
Rajamouli was seen as himself in the trailer, having a discussion with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. The sudden appearance indeed stunned many, and it remains to be seen how long he will feature in the series. The web show, spearheaded by Lakshya and Bobby Deol, will stream from September 18 on Netflix.
