Vash Level 2, the latest Gujarati horror film on Netflix, has quickly caught the attention of viewers. Since its digital premiere, the horror film has been receiving strong reactions, and the makers are reportedly delighted with the response.
Also released in Hindi, the movie has set a new benchmark for Gujarati cinema. Reports indicate that Netflix acquired the digital rights for about Rs. 3.5 crore, the highest amount ever paid for a Gujarati film.
Under the agreement, Netflix will stream Vash Level 2 for three and a half years. The platform will have exclusive rights to both the Gujarati and Hindi versions for the first year. After that, the producers will have the option to make the film available on other streaming platforms.
Produced by Kalpesh Soni and Krunal Soni, and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, the film stars Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Monal Gajjar, and Hiten Kumar in lead roles. The music is composed by Andrew Samuel, with Shivam Bhatt handling the editing.
