Pushpa 2: The Rule is having a phenomenal run at the ticket windows. The mass action drama headlined by Allu Arjun is on its way to achieving the biggest first weekend in the history of Indian cinema. As anticipated, the Hindi version took a giant lead from the second day. The trade experts predicted that the Hindi version would collect about Rs. 45 crores nett on day two.
As the day progressed, the estimates were revised to Rs. 54 crores nett. However, this Allu Arjun starrer exceeded all the expectations by a solid margin by earning Rs. 59 crores nett yesterday. This is nothing short of a sensation, as it was a working day yesterday.
The two-day total stands at Rs. 131 crores nett, the highest for any film in the Hindi belt. The Hindi version is poised to score about Rs. 280 crores nett in its extended first weekend. Directed by Sukumar, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead.
