After delivering a superhit with Raid 2, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn came up with another sequel, Son of Sardaar 2, this year. However, unlike its predecessor, the comedy-drama failed to generate interest among movie buffs due to underwhelming trailers. The film received below-par reviews and ultimately tanked at the box office.
Son of Sardaar 2’s post-theatrical streaming rights are with Netflix, and the film is expected to hit the digital screens on September 26. An official announcement is yet to be made. Popular cinematographer Vijay Kumar Arora directed this flick. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead.
Produced jointly by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande under Devgn Films and Jio Studios, the movie also features Ravi Kishan, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, and Chunky Panday in key roles. Son of Sardaar 2 marked the last on-screen appearance of Mukul Dev.
