It’s been a long time since star heroine Pooja Hegde appeared in a Telugu film. She last played a full-length role in Acharya, but since then, she has only been part of Bollywood and Kollywood projects. Her absence from Tollywood has left fans greatly disappointed.
We earlier reported that she will make her Telugu comeback opposite Dulquer Salmaan, and the official announcement has now come out. The project, tentatively titled DQ41, is now in production and is being directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi. The team released a lovely BTS video to announce Pooja Hegde’s inclusion in the cast.
The lead pair looks super cute, and the team promises their on-screen chemistry will be magical. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas, who produced Dasara, is bankrolling DQ41 on a grand scale. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, while Anay Om Goswamy is handling cinematography.
