The wait is almost over. In less than 20 hours, Stranger Things finally returns. Season 5 Part 1 arrives tomorrow with 4 long episodes, kicking off the final chapter of the series.

If you are counting down the hours, here is everything to keep you ready for the big drop. We have covered the impotant details like the release time for your region, the episode lineup, runtimes, and a few important notes.

Before you hit play, Matt and Ross Duffer want you to do one thing. They asked fans to rewatch 4 specific episodes to get a clearer sense of how Season 5 ties back to the show’s earliest clues. If you want the story to click instantly, these are worth revisiting.

The four episodes are:

Season 2, Episode 4: “Will the Wise” (46 minutes)
Season 2, Episode 6: “The Spy” (51 minutes)
Season 4, Episode 7: “The Massacre at Hawkins Lab” (1 hour 38 minutes)
Season 4, Episode 9: “The Piggyback” (2 hours 30 minutes)

The Duffers explained that these chapters hold the building blocks that Season 5 finally resolves. The new season pulls in the atmosphere of Season 1, opens with what they called their wildest cold open yet, and brings the biggest VFX workload the show has ever attempted. They also teased something fans have been asking for: the main cast comes together much sooner than they did in Season 4.

Returning to lead the final journey are Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour.

Season 5 Part 2 arrives on December 26, 2025 with three more episodes. The saga ends on January 1, 2026 (India time) with a movie-length finale that will also play in select theaters across the United States and Canada.
