Naga Chaitanya will be next seen in the mystical thriller tentatively titled ‘NC24.’ The movie, helmed by Virupaksha director Kartik Dandu, features Laapataa Ladies fame Sparsh Srivastava as the antagonist. The film is now in production. As Naga Chaitanya completed 16 years in the industry, he spoke to Deccan Chronicle and shared interesting details.
Talking about how he and Sobhita Dhulipala approach films, Naga Chaitanya said, “Sobhita has been acting since winning Miss India, but she’s taken a very different route. She’s chosen author-backed roles and films that lean towards artistic storytelling. She’s also deeply into poetry, which influences her perspective. I, on the other hand, approach films from a more commercial standpoint.”
Naga Chaitanya added that he tries to pick roles that are rooted in Indian soil. The Akkineni actor believes stories of our land and culture can resonate with the audience deeply. “The world is curious about India — our heritage, our emotions, our culture. That’s what I want to bring to the screen,” remarked Chaitanya.
