Sabari marks the versatile actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s second pan-Indian movie, releasing this year. Debutant director Anil Katz helms the project, which is confirmed for a cinema release on May 3, 2024, in multiple Indian languages.
With the release date approaching, the team has unveiled a song from the movie. Titled ‘Na Chei Pattukove,’ composed by Gopi Sundar, the song features lyrics penned by Rahman. Amrita Suresh’s vocals add depth to the track.
The emotional bond between Varalaxmi and baby Niveksha is portrayed effectively. The song was filmed in the picturesque locations of the Kodaikanal hills, depicting a moment when both the mother and daughter are on vacation.
Produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the banner of Maha Movies and presented by Maharshi Kondla, Sabari is an emotional psychological thriller. The film features Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Maim Gopi, Sunayana, Rajashree Nair, Madhunandan, Rashika Bali (Bombay), and others.
