Mega hero Allu Sirish will be next seen in the film Buddy. The movie is coming to theatres on 26th July, and today, the theatrical trailer was launched at an event. Right from the beginning, many felt that Buddy was the remake of the Tamil film Teddy, which stars Arya. At the trailer launch event Allu Sirish gave clarity regarding the remake rumors.

Allu Sirish said, “Right from the day we launched the first poster, many have been asking us why we opted for a remake of a film that was watched by many. Though I tried to explain through social media, people labeled Buddy as a remake. I was sure the audience would understand Buddy is not a remake once they watched the trailer. So, kept silent.”

Allu Sirsh added, “Buddy doesn’t follow a template. It is a different attempt, and I am also a bit nervous if people will accept the film. But after watching the trailer, I was a bit relieved. Audiences will always encourage good content films even if they don’t feature big stars. I hope Buddy will entertain one and all.” Directed by Sam Anton, the film is set to release on 26th July. Gayathri Bharadwaj is the female lead.
