Stalwart Tamil actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan unveiled the life-size statue of yesteryear legend Superstar Krishna in Vijayawada this morning. Hundreds of fans, young politician Devineni Avinash and several others graced the memorable occasion.
Krishna’s son and popular actor Mahesh Babu took to X just a while agoland tweeted his heartfelt gratitude to Kamal for unveiling his father’s statue.”Heartfelt gratitude to @ikamalhaasan Sir and @DevineniAvi Garu for gracing the inaugural event of Krishna garu’s statue in Vijayawada. Truly honoured to have them unveil Nanna garu’s statue, a homage to the legacy he left behind. Also, a big thank you to all the fans from the bottom of my heart who made this event possible! Humbled by all the love (sic),” Mahesh tweeted.
However, Mahesh, who is in Hyderabad for Guntur Kaaram’s shoot, couldn’t take part in the statue unveiling ceremony.
