Kollywood comedy family drama, Tourist Family, created a sensation of sorts at the box office. Despite competing with Suriya’s Retro, this small-budget family drama surpassed the biggie in Tamil Nadu. The movie marked the directorial debut of Abishan Jeevinth. We earlier reported that the talented director will soon make his debut as a hero.

Today, the project was officially announced on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Zion Films, in association with MRP Entertainment, is launching Abishan Jeevinth as the protagonist. The movie will introduce Malayalam sensation Anaswara Rajan to the Tamil cinema.

Anaswara Rajan has been part of noteworthy films like Neru, Abraham Ozler, and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. Reportedly titled Corrected Machi, the film is said to target both youth and family audiences. Sean Roldan is the music composer. As of now, it isn’t clear who will direct this flick.
