Despite the setback of Operation Valentine, Varun Tej, the Mega Prince, is resilient and committed to entertaining audiences. Currently, he’s immersed in the project Matka directed by Karuna Kumar, which has been making headlines recently.
As per the makers, the film’s new schedule is set to kick off on June 19, 2024, in a grand set being constructed at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, to bring this high-octane action entertainer to life.
One of the highlights of Matka is Varun Tej’s portrayal in four distinct avatars, adding depth to the narrative set across different time periods, inspired by real-life events.
Joining him are Norah Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary, who will play pivotal roles opposite him. The film, slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, boasts music by G V Prakash Kumar and is a collaborative effort between Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments.
