After the disappointment of Gandeevadhari Arjuna, Mega Prince Varun Tej is gearing up for his next project, Matka, a pan-Indian film directed by Karuna Kumar, renowned for his work on Palasa 1978.
Recent buzz indicates that the film is scheduled to begin shooting in Hyderabad on October 4, 2023, with the first schedule spanning 20 days. An official announcement from the team is expected soon. In the meantime, Varun Tej is enjoying a family vacation in Kenya.
Actress Meenakshii Chaudhary, who is playing the female lead in Guntur Kaaram, will be paired with Varun Tej in this production, produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments. Furthermore, Nora Fatehi will play a significant role in the movie, with GV Prakash Kumar serving as the music director.
