Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas’ latest film, Kishkindhapuri, is now out in theatres. The horror thriller directed by Koushik Pellagapati features Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady. The team screened paid premieres last night in select cities and towns. Today, the Kishkindhapuri team conducted a press meet where Sreenivas expressed his disappointment over critics’ reviews in a subtle way.
He said, “Ten days before, not many knew a film called Kishkindhapuri existed. After the trailer, the momentum picked up. Kishkindhapuri is meant to be experienced on big screens. I firmly believe the movie will have a strong run till OG arrives. I saw the film with the audience and they are enjoying it. Our movie may not be great enough to please critics, but it has the elements to impress the audience.”
Bellamkonda Sreenivas added, “Kishkindhapuri reached the audience organically. We earned love from people organically. The movie will have long legs.” Kishkindhapuri is produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens. Chaitan Bharadwaj composed the tunes.
