Indian 2, the much-anticipated Tamil film, unfortunately failed to make an impact at the box office. Released in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2, this sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian/ Bharateeyudu showcased the dynamic partnership of Kamal Haasan and director Shankar Shanmugam.
The film debuted in cinemas on July 12, 2024, but did not meet audience expectations. Now, Netflix has announced that the movie will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam starting August 9, 2024. It will be interesting to see how the film fares with home viewers.
Featuring Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and SJ Suryah in key roles, Indian 2 is produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stay tuned for more OTT updates.
