Indian 2, directed by Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, is one of the most anticipated films in 2024. The first installment in the three-film series was a sensational blockbuster and achieved cult status among audiences. After several delays, the latest installment film is finally scheduled to be released on July 12.
During Indian 2 promotions, Kamal Haasan shared an interesting update about the film. He said, “The biggest inspiration for me to sign up Indian 2 was actually Indian 3. I’m also playing Senapathy’s father. I know Shankar is a confident man but the confidence that Udhayanidhi had as a fan for Indian and actor Kamal Haasan is astounding.”
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani in key roles. Produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies, Indian 2 features music by Anirudh Ravichander.
