The latest buzz surrounding this ambitious project is that Padma Bhushan awardee Shobana has reportedly been cast as Kaikesi, the mother of Raavana. Known for her powerful screen presence, Shobana’s look for the role has been meticulously designed to create an impactful and intimidating appearance. After much deliberation, the makers were impressed with her transformation and finalized her for the role.
Shobana, who earned praise for her portrayal of Mariam in Kalki 2898 AD, is now set to take on this significant character in Ramayana. Fans are eager to see how her performance as Kaikesi will add to her legacy. Additionally, she will portray the mother of Yash, playing Raavana in the film.
