Harish Shankar is a name that needs no introduction to Telugu cinema lovers. The director’s upcoming movie, Mr. Bachchan, with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, is scheduled to release on August 15th.
Regardless of his films, the director is ahead of others in terms of active participation in social media. Recently, Harish Shankar shared a picture of him standing beside the hero Ravi Teja on his official social media account with a caption that reads, “Meeru Pakkanunte… aa dhairyame verannayya.”
It is well known to all that there has been a solid bond between Mr. Bachchan’s actor and Gabbar Singh’s director for ages. Incidentally, the director’s debut movie, Shock, features Ravi Teja in the lead role, but the film received mixed reviews from the audience.
Irrespective of Shock’s result, Ravi Teja has offered him another chance to direct Mirapakay, which shattered the box office with solid collections. The success of the film opened doors for Harish to direct Powerstar Pavan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, and the rest is history.
After the success of Gaddalakonda Ganesh, the director is coming up with his highly anticipated action film ‘Mr. Bachchan’, a remake (adaptation) of Ajay Devgn’s hit movie Raid (2019).
