The Tollywood blockbuster Hanu-Man, which hit cinemas during the Sankranthi season, has finally made its OTT debut on ZEE5 and Jio Cinema. Directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja, the film has stirred up some criticism.
A few netizens took to social media to comment on the film’s VFX, with some expressing disappointment. However, many fans, aware of the team’s hard work, came to its defense, criticizing the trolls.
Interestingly, Prasanth Varma had expected this reaction. In a post-release interview, he addressed the VFX concerns, explaining that they achieved the best within their allocated budget. He emphasized their focus on key shots while using AI technologies like Unreal Engine for others. Prasanth Varma predicted that viewers could spot these enhancements by pausing the film. Despite this, Varma has remained silent in response to the ongoing criticism.
