The makers of popular young Telugu actress Eesha Rebba and acclaimed actor-director Tharun Bhascker’s upcoming movie have announced the film’s title with a thought-provoking poster and teaser. The film is interestingly titled Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi. The poster features two hands, probably of Tharun Bhaskcker and Eesha’s, clashing with each other, hinting that the film is not going to be a usual rom-com.
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is an official remake of the acclaimed Malayalam drama, Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey!. The film is directed by debutant AR Sajeev. The makers claim that Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is a rib-tickling rural entertainer. The concept video introduces Eesha as Kondaveeti Prashanti, a village belle, and Tharun as Ambati Omkar Naidu, a van owner. The story takes a turn after their marriage, with their post-wedding clashes symbolically represented through cockfights. The film assures a blend of humor, culture, and relatable relationship drama, with an offbeat presentation.
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is being produced by Srujan Yarabolu of the S Originals banner in association with Movie Verse Studios’ Aditya Pittie, Vivek Krishnani, Anup Chandrasekaran, Sadhik Shaik, and Naveen Sanivarapu. Kishore Jaladi and Bala Sowmitri are the co-producers. The film’s shoot is already wrapped up, and the makers have locked August 1st to release the movie.
