Veteran producer Allu Aravind has found himself in the news after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) asked him to appear for an inquiry regarding a land deal.
The issue dates back to 2017, when Aravind purchased a property that unknowingly involved a minor shareholder who had defaulted on a bank loan and was under ED investigation.
During the inquiry, Aravind’s name appeared in the books of accounts, prompting officials to seek clarification. Acting responsibly, Aravind visited the ED office and provided a clear explanation.
He clarified there was no wrongdoing on his part, and the media is needlessly sensationalizing the matter. Stay tuned for more.
