Star actor Dhanush will be seen next in the pan-Indian movies Raayan and Kubera, which are at different levels of production. Amidst these projects, a new film starring Dhanush has been announced – a biopic on the legendary musician Ilaiyaraaja.
Titled Ilaiyaraaja, the movie’s launch event was graced by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan, and others. Ilaiyaraaja, Kamal Haasan, and Dhanush unveiled the first-look poster together.
Arun Matheswaran, who directed Captain Miller with Dhanush, is also directing this venture, which will begin soon. Nirav Shah will handle the cinematography, and Ilaiyaraaja will handle the music.
Connekkt Media, PK Prime Production, and Mercuri Movies have joined forces to produce this movie, confirmed to release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The key cast and crew information will be announced in the days to come.
