Kanchana is a highly successful horror franchise from Kollywood with a massive fan following in the Telugu states as well. Despite mixed reviews, Kanchana 3 made a strong impact at the box office, collecting around Rs. 100 crore and giving tough competition to Nani’s Jersey in Telugu.
The fourth installment is now in development, and according to the latest update the shoot is already halfway through. The release date is yet to be finalized, but the team’s priority is to wrap up production as quickly as possible. Raghava Lawrence is both the director and producer for Kanchana 4.
Bollywood beauty Nora Fatehi has been roped in for this horror flick, and the horror film marks her Kollywood debut. Reportedly, Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna are also part of the cast, though an official confirmation on their presence is still awaited.
