If the latest buzz in the T-town circles is anything to go by, star hero Nandamuri Balakrishna may soon be seen in a film inspired by acclaimed Bollywood star Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium. The Telugu version is rumoured to have been titled Telugu Medium.
Going by the title, the film could be about the plight of the parents whose children study in Telugu medium. Given the immense coverage for the controversial prioritisation of English medium over Telugu in the government schools in Andhra Pradesh until last year, a film titled Telugu Medium and that too featuring a Telugu connoisseur like Balayya, will surely draw several eyebrows. Well, let’s wait for the official announcement regarding this crazy project.
