Megastar Chiranjeevi and Trisha’s ongoing socio-fantasy drama, Vishwambhara, is one of the most eagerly awaited biggies in Tollywood. The film is being directed by Bimbisara fame Mallidi Vassishta, while leading production house UV Creations is bankrolling it with a massive budget of over Rs 200 crore.
And here’s an interesting buzz on this magnum opus. Apparently, director Mallidi Vassishta has approached yesteryear heroine Khushboo for a crucial role in the movie. Apparently, the director had earlier approached Chiru’s Gang Leader heroine Vijayashanthi, but it has been lapped up by Khushboo after Vijayashanthi turned it down. However, an official announcement is awaited in this regard. Incidentally, Chiru had shared screen with both Khushboo and Trisha in AR Murugadoss’ Stalin nearly 2 decades ago.
Vishwambhara is slated for a huge release worldwide on January 10, 2025, as a Sankranthi festive treat. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani is scoring the soundtrack. Stay tuned for further updates.
