As promised, the makers of Indian 2 launched the first single in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages a while ago. The Telugu song is titled Souraa and Anirudh has once again mesmerized with his captivating tunes. Indian/Bharateeyudu’s music was composed by AR Rahman, and hence, all eyes have been on Anirudh ever since the project’s announcement.
Anirudh faced criticism for the background score in the first glimpse, but he has done a fabulous job with the Souraa song. Particularly, the melody portion in this fast-beat song is beautifully composed. Suddala Ashok Teja penned powerful lyrics describing the valor of Kamal Haasan’s character in the film. Ritesh G Rao and Shruthika Samudra’s rendition is as effective as the lyrics and tune.
Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies jointly bankrolled Indian 2. Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, and Brahmanandam played crucial roles. The movie is up for release on July 12, 2024.
