Anushka’s latest film, Bhaagamathie, is having a solid run at the box-offices in the twin Telugu states and in overseas. In the US, the film opened to a decent $277,715 from 120 locations from the Thursday night premieres and Friday.
Until the latest updates at 12 pm, Bhaagamathie collected $27,458 gross, taking its latest total to $305,173. At this pace, the film will breach the half a million dollar milestone by Sunday. With no major Telugu movies as competition, Bhaagamathie is expected to fully utilize this free run at the box-office.
Pilla Jamindar fame Ashok has directed Bhaagamathie, which has been produced under UV Creations banner. Thaman’s music has become a hit with the audience.
