The hybrid version of SS Rajamouli’s epic Baahubali two-part saga is titled Baahubali: The Epic. Set for a grand release in multiple languages and premium formats, the movie teaser dropped yesterday, leaving fans stunned.
Many are curious to see how the recut will look. One of the main questions on everyone’s mind is whether the makers have added any new scenes. While there’s a possibility of that, several sequences from the original are expected to be removed.
The mastermind himself shared something exclusive with Hollywood’s entertainment magazine Entertainment Weekly (EW). In his words, “Letting go of the Kanna Nidhurinchara song featuring Anushka Shetty and Prabhas, and the romantic sequences between Tamannaah Bhatia and Prabhas, was one of the most difficult choices my team and I had to make.”
Fans should know that the Kanna Nidhurinchara song from Baahubali: The Conclusion and the romantic action scene from Baahubali: The Beginning won’t be in the final cut of Baahubali: The Epic.
Exactly what other changes have been made is still unclear. One thing’s for sure – the epic is ready to thrill audiences once again, this time in a brand-new way, on October 31, 2025.
