Zee 5’s Bahishkarana has caught the attention of many. Anjali played the lead role in this series, which is a period social drama directed by Mukesh Prajapathi.
The success meet was held in Hyderabad, and speaking at the event, Anjali said that she is looking forward to doing more bold and intense roles in her career from now on.
“I don’t want to do those regular characters anymore. With my OTT projects, I have come to know how to go about playing dark roles, and they have given me a sense of satisfaction as an actress,” says Anjali.
She also adds that doing bold roles in Bahishkarana was an eye-opener, and the scenes jolted her personally. But now that she is aware of how to play dark roles, she is game for doing more. Ravindra Vijay and Sritej played key roles in this six-episode series.
